Just a quick note to let you all know that the ADSDesigners blog train, Sunflower Patch, kicks off today. I'm in the process of sorting out my share of this kit but the internet problems earlier this week delayed things, plus I've had horrendous work deadlines resulting in me working until for instance, 2:30 am this morning.... ;(

Well, after a hectic weekend when I had to work until 2 am on Sunday morning and then until just gone midnight on Sunday, then having to dash out to a client to sort out tax returns and accounts I have finally had chance to upload my part in this month's ADSD blog train. I am sorry this is late, but real life hits big time on occasion. The preview of my part of the kit is shown below.
and comprises:
- 5 papers;
- 6 flowers;
- 1 Butterfly;
- 2 ladybirds;
- 1 overlay
- 2 ribbons;
- 1 journalling paper; and
- 1 frame
Please take time to go visit all the stops on the blog train - there are some fantastic designs out there and they will be available for all of June.

Have fun! I'm off to create a desktop using my part of the kit and am hoping to upload this tomorrow for those interested!
Well the new blog train is released later today but I am afraid you will have to wait until later in the day for my part. I have had to unexpectedly work all weekend and am off out to a client's very soon. I am sorry but I just will not have time to post my part until later this afternoon/early evening depending on how long I am out. You wouldn't have thought an accountant who mainly prepares tax returns and accounts could have sudden emergencies like this, would you? I bet you never realised accountancy could be so exciting!!!
To follow the next step in the ADSD blog train, please visit our central hub for the complete list of stops:

Have fun on the train and I will be back later! Oh, and I will also check out the tulip download to see what is wrong with it :)

ADSDesigners March 2009 Blog Train: Hurry up and get here, Spring!
8 comments Posted by Lynn at 3/01/2009 08:48:00 pmWell, my daughter and I have just got back from a fantastic three day break in London. This time, we visited the British Museum, the Natural History Museum, St Paul's Cathedral, the Globe Theatre, the Clink Museum, Buckingham Palace, as well as Oxford Street, Regents Street, Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square.
DD managed to fit in some shopping time, and we saw "Zorro, the musical" and "Jersey boys". Both performances were good, but if ever you get the chance, you really should go and see Jersey Boys. The audience was dancing in the aisles and the cast had a standing ovation. The language was somewhat ripe at times, and some of the jokes/innuendos would not have been understood by my 12 year old (who thankfully wasn't there!), but the music was awesome. It was as if Franky Valli and the Four Seasons were singing right in front of us. I would definitely recommend it - just close your ears when they use the "F" word!
DD and I very rarely use the underground when in London, which meant that for the first two days, we walked everywhere. I reckon we did at least 12 miles the first day with another 10 the second day. Mind you, every time we tried to work out how far we walked, the estimates kept going up! We only managed about 5 miles the last day and succumbed to the lure of the underground as our legs and feet had just about had it! I am sitting here at my computer now and can still feel my bones aching and the blisters on my feet throbbing! It was definitely all worth it though :)!
Anyhow, after those few days away, I came back and finished off my part in the ADSDesigners blog train: Hurry up and get here, Spring! Here is a preview of my part in this. Firstly, the elements:
and then the papers:
You know, when I signed up for this collaboration, I though I had loads of time, and yet before I knew it, the end of the month had rolled round and I was panicking over how much I had not done! I'm still hoping to get at least an extra hour in each day (in lieu of the 48 hours a day and 14 days in a week I really need) but so far, my prayers have been unanswered. Guess all I really need is better organisation!
Anyhow, the Sugar Shoppe collaboration is released today, and here is the preview of my contribution:
