I haven't had much free time recently as I have been so busy (nothing new there then!). I have been out at a client's putting all their books and records onto an accounts program and it has been an up and down ride. But it is beginning to look as if in another day or so, it will all be up and running - so I just need to train them on how to use the software!

I've also managed to write a tutorial for Bellascraps, and I think this will be in the next edition which is due to be released around 15th March. Here is a sneak preview:
You may recognise the paper used from my share of the ADSDesigners collab kit!
All the tutorials I write for Bella are aimed at beginners and I try to make sure that they are easy to follow and understand. Hopefully, if you read Bella, you will let me know if this is the case or not. You can buy Bellascraps direct here but it is also available at several scrap shops - just check the Bellascraps website for details.

I then went and entered the Go Digital Supreme Team contest VII to find the next creative team. I actually managed to surprise myself and get through to round 2 - the first time I have ever got through to round 2 in any scrap competition! I don't expect for one minute I will get any farther, but it has been fun, and some of the layouts created so far have been awesome. It is amazing just how everyone had a different take using the same kit (Your Day by Dani Alencar). It will be interesting to see what everyone comes up with for the next round but all I have done so far is download the kit. I haven't a clue what I am going to do yet and daren't look in the GDS gallery in case I get influenced by what others have already done!

We have also had fun and games with our car.....according to hubbie, the indicator light keeps popping out so we have an unexpected trip to the garage this morning to have the car fixed. Lovely! He told me the news yesterday, when I was at the Hobbycraft Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham. Mum and I went to this and there was just so much to see - I could have spent a fortune (if I'd got one;)) as there were loads of scrumptious things to buy!

I actually really wanted some hand made paper, but couldn't see any at all :(. However, I did get a really neat Woodware border punch and the new Fiskars pencil swivel knife:

Since I have started making my own cards now, which I design on the computer and then print and cut out, I end up spending hours carefully cutting out bits and pieces for the cards. Mum and I went to a Fiskars workshop and got to try out this pencil swivel knife and basically, you hold it like a pen or or pencil and it is so easy to use. It much more flexible than holding a normal craft knife, so of course, mum and I both ended up getting one!

Ok, that's all for now. I'm hoping to be back with a freebie in the next day or so, so watch this space! In the meantime, happy scrapping!
